The challenge was to build a house that combined the tastes of different generations and gave a panoramic view of Lake Léman.
The main feature of the house are the large windows that let the sunlight flow in to illuminate and warm the house and lighten the façade. The intimate terraces were also especially designed and are detached from the masonry structure roof to enable admiring the landscape in total privacy.
Only natural and ecological materials were used: insulating terracotta bricks, special plaster, wood and steel. Steel was also used in the frames: in fact all the windows are made with special ventilated thermal steel profiles (Palladio Tabs) that give natural insulation in line with the sophisticated architectural solutions applied by the architect Stoll.
The inside stairways and handrails are also steel.
Purity and strength are the project guidelines.
